Candover Brook Brut NV

A delicate balance of freshness and richness.

Our maiden release, based on the incredible 2019 harvest and all from our own single vineyard in the heart of our regenerative farm estate in Hampshire. Nothing is rushed here, the wine develops in bottle for over 3.5 years at least. We don't like to brag but it's also won a multitude of medals!

Candover Brook Rosé NV

Vibrant, elegant and refined.

Who doesn't enjoy some sparkling pink fizz? It's become very popular from here in the UK and ours is from our single vineyard, nestled in the heart of our regenerative farm in Hampshire. They say that things that grow together, go together and we think this works a treat with Chalk Stream trout!

Tasting Notes

Brut - On the nose, floral notes compliment nutty and toasty overtones. Bubbles are generous without being overwhelming. The palate starts with hints of floral citrus. Then creamy vanilla and orchard fruits on the mid palate. Long, streamline and mineral finish.

Rosé - Our maiden release is a vivid pink hue with lively aromas of fresh strawberry, cranberry and toasted brioche. On the palate, creamy mouthfeel and a bold mousse are tempered by the wine’s mouth-watering acidity and vibrant purity of fruit.

Rare Crayfish at Candover Brook

Candover Brook is named after the chalk stream that runs through our valley. Chalk streams are almost uniquely English, and our chalk soil is the key defining element of our vineyard’s topography. The Candover Brook is one of the few remaining habitats of the rare English white-clawed crayfish. Both the brook and its crayfish are celebrated in the design of our label. We donate 50p for every bottle sold via the website or within a 15-mile radius of the vineyard to support the project set up by HIWWT to preserve the white-clawed crayfish

Absolutely delish

I’m back ordering more because this wine is absolutely delicious.

A Superb, fantabulous surprise!

I'm generally no longer able to tolerate grapes of any sort, so rarely drink wine.
I was gifted a bottle of the Candover Brook Brut NV and felt it churlish to decline! I am thrilled to announce (mouth watering at the memory as I type) that this, light yet full flavoured, clean, crisp delicious sparkle, was a total delight and I suffered no ill effects whatsoever. I'm overjoyed and suspect that it's actually good for me! It certainly lifted my spirits and is - in my view -superior in its class.
Forgive me but I will Brook no other!
